Intro.

So this is hopefully gonna be a bit like the Radio 1 presenters' Big Thing of the week I guess. Except I'm not a Radio 1 presenter (yet), and I might not stick to the strict "once a week" thing.

Basically what I'm aiming to do is start a blog which captures my favourite songs of the moment. I'll analyse them a bit, say why I like them and compare them to other songs.

Please bear with me; I've never done a blog before (and I'm quite sure that writing twice in a diary at the age of eight doesn't count).

Please also note that a lot of the music on my most listened to Spotify playlist, the "Starred", is probably directly descended from Radio 1's music, with a branch of the family tree coming from my own family's influences.
